Kelly Blanchard decided to pursue a career in real estate after surviving a deal that had way too many rough patches. Success came quickly. Kim Nix’s approach to Richmond real estate is a little more personal than most. Warm and welcoming, thanks to her deep southern (Alabama) roots, she takes the time to listen to her clients–she understands that buying a home is not like any other purchase. It is where you live and one of the ultimate expressions of self.
“So many factors affect the decision, and people approach it so many different ways. Some are very calculated and all about the numbers. For others, it is a very emotional experience. Most people fall somewhere in between, but my favorite part of this job is getting to know the people I work with and listening to what they want.”
While her home is in the City of Richmond, she is a versatile agent. She enjoys exploring all of Richmond and getting to know the many personalities and pockets that make up the Metro region. When she is not out showing houses (with clients) you can find her in her studio painting, out running on Monument Ave, or enjoying down time at home with her husband, 3 children and 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Keri Smith is our Buyer’s Specialist Assistant and enjoys helping people see the true potential in a home while helping them find what best fits their needs. She has been in charge of multiple home remodeling projects and has acted as the general contractor in building one of her own homes.

Keri and her husband, Andrew, have four children and love living in Richmond’s Northside. She enjoys home projects that involve restoring, repurposing, and decorating for the sake of beauty and hospitality. Cooking big meals and feasting around the table with family and friends is a common activity in her home. Keri also loves spending time in this wonderful city, enjoying the James River, the VMFA, and the many different donut establishments around town.
Shannon Reppard works as the Marketing Director for the Kelly Blanchard Real Estate Group, and she does home staging for clients preparing to sell their homes as well. Shannon joined Kelly and Kim after they helped her and her family navigate the process of selling and buying a home in a difficult economy. Born and raised in RVA, she loves being a part of the process of helping people find the perfect spot to call home in the many great neighborhoods of Richmond. While her professional background includes being an Executive Director of a small non-profit and a Director of Programs for refugee and immigrant families in the Richmond area, her most rewarding role is being a mom to four little rascals.
Shannon loves helping people think through finding and buying a new home and helping sellers prepare their home to sell to its proud new owners. She also loves connecting people and helping them stay informed about all things Richmond real estate related.
