After living in Richmond for over thirty years and renovating two houses, I’ve had the pleasure of calling the Chesapeake Bay area home since 2009. We bought our Mathews property in the mid-90’s, and while experiencing waterfront building first hand, I quickly understood that building along the water is different. Design and construction, as well as matters relating to rip rap, pier building, septic and wells are all part of the unique challenges that I enjoy helping people navigate.
“Building homes along the water presents a unique set of challenges, and I love helping my clients navigate those intricacies.”
Transitioning to country living in a small waterfront community is buying a lifestyle, one that for me now includes watching the tides, crabbing, and raising oysters. Whether it’s kayaking in the quiet creeks or exploring the different personalities of the small towns, it’s part of the pace that I’ve grown into and appreciate. My experience as a former small business owner in the area selling locally sourced foods has given me a unique insight into the community and the abundance it has to offer. I look forward to sharing that and helping you find your perfect setting.
