A life-long Richmonder, Alexis brings local and state-wide economic development experience into the real estate world. Spending a number of years working on revitalization projects and historic preservation initiatives, she earned a Virginia Downtown Development Association award and speaking slot for the National Main Streets Conference (Chicago, 2009) based on her work combing community development, marketing and technology.
“My relationships with community partners, in addition to my work on economic development projects, set the tone for my business; I care about people and about helping them find the perfect fit – be it the neighborhood, the house, or making the right financial decision.”
As the Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Ashland, Alexis worked closely with community partners to support the efforts of small businesses, entrepreneurs and community assets, as well as large company relocations such as Vitamin Shoppe. At the state level, Alexis worked closely with community development grant programs, promotional tools, tourism programming and economic development incentives.
Along with her career accomplishments, she also brings with her, experience with residential investment property and her own fixer-upper adventures.
