Born and raised in Florida, I went to FSU where I studied abroad in Italy my sophomore summer, which gave me an exposure to a different culture that spans the centuries, and an immersion and appreciation for a different way of life. I was inspired by the depth of detail in all aspects of the Italian culture, love of the Italian history, food and architecture. My study abroad motivated me to seek an internship with a major Italian Fashion house, and I ended up interning at Salvatore Ferragamo in Fashion Public Relations in Manhattan. I graduated with a degree in Merchandising and moved to Atlanta after graduation where I went into Sales and Marketing in telecommunications, On Premise Wine and Spirit Sales, and lastly, Residential Real Estate. My love of people. building relationships, marketing and architecture made Real Estate a natural fit for me.
My husband and I were married in Atlanta and his career brought us to RVA in 2006, which was an exciting and scary move since neither of us knew anyone here. So I have a deep empathy for people moving here for the first time. I love RVA, the history and culture, world class museums and rising food scene, and my hobbies are being outdoors, water sports, exercising, food and wine, baking, reading and traveling. Both of our children were born in Richmond and I had the privilege of staying home with them until 2017 when I went back into Residential Real Estate.
Real Estate is an ever changing and evolving people business. My goal is to build lifelong relationships with my clients, whether they are buying, selling or both! I believe in being a trusted resource for my clients; bringing both myself and my valued and vetted vendors to the table. I do my best to live both professionally and personally by the Golden Rule of treating others the way I want to be treated. I’ve been fortunate to have received a Rising Star Award, and a Ruby Team Award in my career in RVA Real Estate.
