Ann Schweitzer Riley has been exploring virtually every aspect of real estate since she graduated from UVA with a BA in English in 2003. Passionate about buildings, architectural design, and urban planning, Ann immediately jumped into real estate as a residential real estate appraiser in Charlottesville, VA. After spending some time as both a real estate appraiser and a legal assistant in Charlottesville, Ann relocated to Richmond in 2008 for a position with an affordable housing nonprofit. Discovering a new layer of interest in construction and real estate development, Ann began working her way towards a career in commercial real estate – working as a real estate construction project manager, a corporate commercial leasing associate, and finally, as a commercial agent at One South Commercial.
“I believe in meeting all of my clients as they are, where they are.”
Ann’s focus is primarily on urban commercial properties, including office, retail, multifamily, industrial, and mixed use properties. Her experience includes representing both commercial property owners and buyers, as well as landlords and commercial tenants, in property investment, development, and leasing. Ann’s experience in both residential and commercial product applications as well as in commercial sales and leasing provide a broad foundation for her expertise in use, property disposition, redevelopment, and asset/product optimization.
