Charlie grew up in Old Church, VA, and attended school at the University of Maryland, VCU, and Cornell, where he received a BS in Urban and Regional Studies. He has returned to Richmond to participate, like so many others, in this city’s political, social, and physical reformations.
Having interned for the Levar Stoney mayoral campaign, Charlie was immersed in many of Richmond’s neighborhoods at a conversational scale. He was struck by the warmth and hope that ran deep within so many Richmonders. His volunteer work with RVA Rapid Transit shed further light on this observation; surveying his fellow transit-users for opinions towards the Richmond Transit Network Plan proposals showed him that Richmond can, and will, move forward on a grassroots level.
“My role at One South Realty will always be to bring my knowledge to the client, and help to make Richmond home for all who seek it.”
Charlie is currently an Associate at Pareto Development and Construction Services, and also serves as Project and Acquisition Director for Watchtower Homes and Construction. Splitting his time with these two companies has given him great insight into building science, site planning, zoning regulation, marketing, general contracting, and communication.
