Goochland County is located to the west of Henrico County and is accessed by Interstate 64 and Route 288. Goochland, especially the eastern section of Manakin-Sabot, is home to some of the highest valued real estate in the region. Goochland is generally considered to be rural and home to some of the most stunning estates in the region.
In addition to highly valued residential real estate, Goochland is also home to some of the regions most respected golf and country clubs — Hermitage and Kinloch. The famed Deep Run Hunt Club is also located in Manakin-Sabot.
Despite its rural and bucolic nature, Goochland has excellent access to the upscale retail corridor of Short Pump. Much of the region’s most sought after retail, grocery, and entertainment is located in Short Pump, as is the Innsbrook Office Park. Additionally, proximity to the intersection of Interstate 64, 295 and Route 288 gives Goochland residents tremendous access to the entire Richmond MSA.
