A2
Located in the alleyway between Grayland and Parkwood Streets just west of Robinson Street, the A2 project represents a new concept for infill in Richmond — development in the sizable alleyways and non-contributing spaces hidden throughout the urban grid.
A2 is a collection of 6 contemporary and surprisingly affordable town homes with garages, dumb waiters, and ample balconies. The private and living spaces are inverted, much like the homes along the beaches of Virginia and North Carolina, with the kitchen and great room on the upper level in order to take advantage of the views.
The project also manages to capture the tremendous walkability of the western Fan District with Carytown, the museums along the Boulevard, and the Robinson Street entertainment corridor all moments away.
