Marshall Street Bakery
The Marshall Street Bakery Condos is a mixed-use condo project of 23 residential units and roughly 3,000 SF of commercial space fronting Marshall Street near the intersection with Brook Road.
Developed in the middle 2000’s, the project was built in the burned-out shell of Mother Herbert’s Bakery. From the street, the rather benign facade minimizes the scale of the project.
For a project of its size, the MSBC provided an atypical amenity package that features garage parking, a central courtyard, and an exercise facility. Nearly all of the units offer some private outdoor space either overlooking Marshall Street or the interior courtyard.
Kelvin Hansen and Alex Alexander acted as the developers while Walter Parks Architects provided the design. MGT Construction built the project.
