Dave loves everything about residential real estate. From the things you can’t see, like the framing behind the drywall, to the finishing touches you probably don’t even notice, such as the caulk on the trim, Dave lives for it. Growing up in a small town in northeast Wisconsin, with contractors for parents, he learned the value of a strong work ethic at a young age. Having extensive construction skills, he and his wife decided to purchase their first investment property in 2010, with a plan to use the proceeds to pay for their wedding. They were successful; he was hooked; and they’ve never looked back. Today, Dave owns a rental portfolio and renovates homes to sell.
“If you’re not passionate about what you do, find something else to do…I choose real estate.”
Dave’s specialty is identifying what his clients need in a home and modifying a house to meet those needs. This may include significant changes to the layout, or may simply be an update to tired finishes. The process is at times tough, but Dave’s thoughtfulness, care and patience help get his clients through. The relationships created during these projects are what Dave values most. He is happy to say that many of his past clients have become true friends.
He currently resides just a touch north of Bon Air, with his wife, Amber, and their two lively children, Otis and Evelyn. When Dave is not analyzing properties, assisting clients, and revitalizing homes, he is an outdoorsman.
