After a successful corporate career in the chemical industry, first as a chemical engineer and then in sales and business management, Doug decided to pursue one of his favorite hobbies: house hunting.  He and his wife Pat lived in eight states and bought eight homes.  During his business travels, he fell in love with Richmond and decided to make it home seven years ago. 

Doug is very detailed and organized.  Negotiating was one of his strong suits in the corporate world, a trait that transfers well to real estate.  He has a passion for working with people and helping them achieve their goals and dreams.  His other interests include golf, travel, volunteering his time with many ministries, and spending time with his wife, their children, and their grandkids.
