The City of Richmond is located in Central Virginia along the bank of the James River.
Richmond is accessed by Interstates 95 and 64 with both Routes 288 and Interstate 295 forming a beltway around the city and is bordered by Henrico County (north and east) and Chesterfield County (south and west).
As the capitol of Virginia, the entire Richmond MSA is home to well over 1 million people and generally considered to be top 50 city in the US.
Prominent neighborhoods in Richmond are The Fan District, Carytown, Church Hill, Ginter Park, Manchester, Downtown, Shockoe, Scotts Addition, Westover Hills and ‘The West End.’
